Each design begins as a hand-drawn illustration before being carefully produced in our Norfolk studio.

The Woodlands Favourite
This design was created by Bartholomew Blackthorn, a careful badger craftsman of Black Horse Lane, who insisted on adding the gold stars himself. Unfortunately his paws were rather full of paint that day, and several tea cups belonging to Lady Agatha were left sparkling far more than intended. The design itself was inspired by Barnaby Moonfeather, the tawny owl who watches the Hollow from the branches of the old oak — and despite the teacup incident, the paper turned out beautifully.
